Competition Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all competitions, prize draws, or similar operating across all Gaydio brands and companies.

Unless stated, the promoter is Gaydio CIC, Suite 1A Manchester One, M1 3LF.

1) Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) only. Employees or volunteers of Gaydio CIC, Gaydio Brighton, Gaydio Digital, their partners, contributors, recent guests or their immediate families, agencies, or anyone else directly connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

2) By entering any competition all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

3) All prizes are subject to availability. There will be no cash alternative.

4) Source material utilised by our question compilers will be taken as correct. The decision of the Gaydio judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5) Callers are not necessarily entitled to participate in the on-air competition and will not necessarily appear on-air in the order in which they are called. Gaydio is not obliged to reimburse callers for telephone charges when either on hold or on air.

6) Entry into the competition is deemed as agreement to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the competition.

7) Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit to the competition address. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

8) In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.

9) Entries will become the property of Gaydio and will not be returned.

10) Entry into the competition is free and Lottery and Gaming regulations do not apply.

11) No liability will be accepted on the part of Gaydio, its co-promoters or agents for any loss, illness or injury resulting directly or otherwise from participation in any competition or promotion.

12) No liability on the part of Gaydio, its co-promoters or agents will be accepted for any action, civil or otherwise, taken against individual participants in the promotion.

13) Entrants into the promotion have no claim whatsoever to any intellectual or other property connected to any promotion, which remains in the sole ownership of Gaydio.

14) No promotional activity with any 3rd party, can be undertaken by any participant, before or after the promotion, without the express written consent of Gaydio.

15) Collusion with other participants is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification.

16) Entrants may be required to take part in future promotional activity exclusively for Gaydio before/during and/or after the promotion in connection with the promotion.

17) Gaydio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notification. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions also apply to any subsequent revision, whether notified or not.

18) Unless stated, Standard network charges apply to text entries.

19) Entrants may be contacted via email or phone or text message by Gaydio and its partners. To opt-out please email optout@gaydio.co.uk

20) Competition Prizes are subject to partner conditions as applicable.

21) Gaydio or co-partner cannot be held responsible for delayed or undelivered items that are posted, including but not limited to tickets, wristbands or other entry mechanisms

22) Gaydio or co-partner Is not liable for any expenses incurred by competition entrants and winners related to the provision of this prize.

23) Competitions may be shared across the Gaydio Network. This includes Gaydio in any of the cities we currently broadcast in, under the Gaydio brand on FM or DAB irrespective of the operating company. This also may include, but not limited to, online (including app, website and third party outlets) and via our website and social media.

24) If Gaydio or co-partner is unable to gain contact to the winner and/or the prize is not accepted within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited.

25) Where a prize is for an event, winners may be sent tickets via post or email supplied on the entrant form. Prizes may also be via a guest list or need to be collected in person. Where collection is in person, this will be listed in the additional T&C's below.

26) Prize providers will have their own Terms & Conditions which will always be available up on request. These are the same terms & conditions as a customer who may buy the product being given away. By accepting any prize, you also agree to these

27) Where Gaydio is not the promoter and/or prizes are provided by a third party, Gaydio accept no responsibility if the prize is not delivered. Gaydio will make all reasonable efforts to help resolve non-delivery or delays or other prize related issues, but in entering the competition you acknowledge and accept that Gaydio ultimately is not at fault should such a situation arise.

28) Competitions, prize draws or similar may take place in a single geographic location or across the Gaydio network of stations (which may also include third party radio stations or platforms). This may affect the overall number of entries received and should be taken into account by participants when entering draws.

29) Additional terms and conditions may apply, as below, for specific competitions. Where there is a conflict between the general terms and conditions and specific terms relating to competitions, Gaydio will be solely responsible for deciding which terms take priority.

Entry routes and costs
1. entries are restricted to 1 entry per person.
2. The online competition is a shared prize between all of Gaydio's broadcast stations: London, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle & Gateshead and Portsmouth.
3. Entry to the competition is through the competition entry form on the landing page https://www.gaydio.co.uk/win/win-eurovision-final-tickets-flights-and-hotel-with-gaydio-and-easyjet
4. Entry is free of charge.
Competition mechanic and how to win
1. Entrants must complete the entry form using all of the required details.
2. Only one entry per person will be accepted.
3. After the competition window closes, one winner will be picked at random from all eligible entries. Once the main winner has been selected, another draw from the remaining entries will take place for the first runner up prize, followed by a third and final draw from the remaining entries for the second runner up prize.
  - The winner will be contacted between 12:00 and 17:30 on Tuesday 30th April through a phone call from Gaydio and a confirmation email.
  - Winner must respond within 24 hours of being contacted to redeem their prize, otherwise prize will be forfeited and another winner will be chosen. This process will be repeated until three prize winners have confirmed and accepted their prize.
  - Winner consents to their contact details being passed to easyJet and their partners in order to redeem the prize.
  - Winner agrees to share details requested by easyJet in order to facilitate prize giving.
Entry period
1. entries must be submitted during the following entry period:
  - From 16:30 on Friday 12th April 2024 (the "start time") to 11:59 on Tuesday 30th April 2024 ("end time").
  - Entries received before the start time or after the end time will be invalid.

The prize
1. Three winners will be selected at random to win one of three prizes. The first selected winner will win the first prize followed by two runners up who will win the runner up prize.
  - Winning Prize
    - A pair of VIP tickets to the Grand Final show on Saturday 11^th May 2024
    - Accommodation for two adults in either a twin room or standard double at the Quality Hotel the Mill with breakfast included. Check in Fri, 10th May, Check out Sun, 12th May. You will be able to check-in the day before the show and must check-out the day after the show.
    - And return flights for 2 people as follows:
      - from London Gatwick (LGW) to Copenhagen (CPH) on 10th May, 2024 at 7:20 (flight number EZY8719)
      - from CPH to LGW on 12th May, 2024 at 11:55 (flight number EZY8720)
  - Runner Up Prize 1:
    - A pair of VIP tickets to the First Semi-Final show on Tuesday 7th May 2024
    - Accommodation for two adults in either a twin room or standard double at the Quality Hotel the Mill with breakfast included. Check in Mon, 6th May, Check out Weds 8th May. You will be able to check-in the day before the show and must check-out the day after the show.
    - And return flights for 2 people as follows:
      - from London Gatwick (LGW) to Copenhagen (CPH) on 6th May, 2024 departing at 13:55 (flight number EZY8721)
      - from CPH to LGW on 8th May, 2024 at 17:00 (flight number EZY8722)
  - Runner Up Prize 2:
    - A pair of VIP tickets to the Second Semi-Final show on Thursday 9^th May 2024
    - Accommodation for two adults in either a twin room or standard double at the Quality Hotel the Mill with breakfast included. Check in Weds, 8th May, Check out Fri, 10th May. You will be able to check-in the day before the show and must check-out the day after the show.
    - And return flights for 2 people as follows:
      - from London Gatwick (LGW) to Copenhagen (CPH) on 8th May, 2024 at 13:35 (flight number EZY8721)
      - from CPH to LGW on 10th May, 2024 at 10:50 (flight number EZY8720)
2. All flights include one small cabin bag (max 45x36x20cm) and a large cabin bag (max 56 x 45 x 25cm) per each passenger.
3. All flights from the UK will land at Copenhagen Airport. The winner and their companion will need to organise their own travel arrangements from Copenhagen to Malmö.
4. All other travel expenses including food (other than the hotel breakfast), any visa or passport costs, travel to and from the airports, travel between Copenhagen and Malmo, and travel to and from the show will not be covered.
5. If you win…
  - A member of the Gaydio or easyJet team will message you directly for you to arrange your flights.
  - You may be asked to provide proof of identity, residency and age, so that we are sure you are who you say you are and are eligible to receive the prize.
  - You can’t exchange the prize for cash, or ask us to give it to someone else (not that you’d want to!). We will use reasonable efforts to award the prize as described but if due to unforeseen circumstances we reserve the right to cancel or amend the prize.
  - You’ll be responsible for all taxes, insurance and any other expenses, fees and costs connected with the use of the prize that are not included in the prize description.
  - If, in order to take the prize, you and your plus one need a valid passport and/or other necessary travel documentation and visas, you’ll need to sort those out for yourself.
  - You are responsible for your use of the prize, including complying with any applicable terms and conditions of use. Of course, if you win a prize, you’ll be good and comply with all relevant laws, rules and regulations. Gaydio and easyJet reserve the right to disqualify any entrant who has engaged in unlawful or improper conduct.
  - Once the flight and accommodation bookings are confirmed, easyJet booking conditions will apply to the booking in addition to these competition terms and conditions. The booking conditions are available on request or can be found at: https://www.easyjet.com/en/terms-and-conditions/key-terms.
6. The following terms apply to the tickets to the Eurovision shows:
  - All tickets are courtesy of easyJet and cannot be resold.
  - All tickets will be issued during early May or at the latest, within 24 hours of the show beginning.
  - easyJet, Ticketmaster, and the Event Promoter will not be responsible for any Ticket that is lost, stolen or destroyed and Tickets cannot be replaced. For more information on ticketing policies/terms, please refer to the Customer & Policy section on: https://www.ticketmaster.se/
  - Ticket is valid for one admission for the Event only. Once a Ticket has been scanned or the stub removed the Ticket cannot be used.
  - All Tickets will be digital tickets and delivered via email using the email provided by the entrant.
  - easyJet reserves the right to make Tickets available for collection by you at the venue box office or at another designated ticket collection point. easyJet will notify you by telephone or email of the arrangements for collection if this becomes necessary. You may be required to show ID to access your ticket.
  - Tickets issued to competition winners may not:
    - be used for advertising, promotions, contests or sweepstakes (or for other such similar commercial gain); and/or
    - be combined with any hospitality, travel or accommodation service and/or any other merchandise, product or service to create a package for sale or other distribution.
    - sold, transferred, gifted to any other person other than the party who they are originally issued to i.e., the competition winner.
  - The Event Promoter and easyJet reserve the right to cancel any Ticket purchased by Customers who are reasonably believed to be associated with any ticket broker or tout.
  - The venue reserves the right to refuse entry to the Event in reasonable circumstances including for health and safety, licensing reasons or where a Ticket is void.
  - No refunds or compensation of any kind will be offered to Customers who are refused entry or removed from the Venue.
  - Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a responsible adult aged 18+
easyJet Terms and Conditions
1. easyJet will only use the personal information provided to us during the course of this promotion to conduct the promotion and award the prize.

3. The nature of the prize may be such that it poses health or safety risks, or risks normally associated with travel to you (and if applicable, to your guest). You should consider any health, safety and travel risks and take appropriate precautions (including arrange insurances) to guard against those risks. Insofar as permitted by law, easyJet, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate you or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of easyJet. Your statutory rights are not affected
4. easyJet reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of an anticipated breach of any applicable law or any event outside of easyJet’s control. Any changes to the competition will be published on easyJet’s social media channels.

Competition Mechanic
1. To enter the competition, a listener must complete the form on the landing page, answering all questions correctly.
2. Within 28 days of competition closure, a winner will be selected at random from all eligible and correct entries.
Entry Period
1. Entries must be submitted during the following entry period: From [00:01 Monday 15th April 2024] (the "start time") to [23:59 Sunday 28th April 2024] ("the end time").
2. Entries submitted before the start or after the end time will be invalid.

2. If the winning entrant does not respond to a phone call or email from Gaydio within 7 days of contact, the winner will forfeit the prize and another prize winner will be selected.

Prize terms
Tickets can be redeemed for any performance that has availablity.
Bookings for the hotel stay is subject to availability.
Bookings for the LGBTQ+ History walking tour of London is subject to availability
Food, beverage, travel or spending money are not included in the prize.
Prize is non-transferable, cannot be exchanged for a monetary value and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offers.
