Pride Cymru 2026 takes over Coopers Field and Cardiff Castle 13 to 14 June, with the mile-long parade and Wales's biggest LGBTQ+ celebration.
More Information (Gaydio — The UK's LGBTQ+ Radio Station is not responsible for external websites)
Pride Cymru began as Cardiff Mardi Gras in 1999 after a surge in hate crimes prompted the LGBTQ+ community and Safer Cardiff to create a visible response, drawing 5,000 to 6,000 to the first event. The volunteer-led charity now hosts over 7,000 parade participants and a two-day festival programme of live music, drag, cabaret and community activity. The 2026 line-up is yet to be announced. Pride Cymru is the proud holder of the Gold level of Attitude is Everything's Live Events Access Charter, with a strong commitment to disabled audience experience.
Tickets for the festival site are on sale via Citizen Ticket. Children under 5 do not need a ticket. Tickets are single-entry, you cannot leave the site and return without a fresh ticket. The parade through the city centre is free to watch. Check the Pride Cymru website for the latest programme, accessibility info and ticket options.
