Medway Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday 22 August at Rochester Castle, the iconic Norman keep on the banks of the River Medway. The annual parade processes from Rochester High Street up to the castle, where the festival site in the castle grounds hosts an outdoor stage with live performances, stalls selling food, drink, gifts and memorabilia. The 2026 theme follows on from Medway Pride CIC's running theme since 2021, Pride is a Protest and a Celebration.

Medway Pride CIC also runs a wider programme around the August festival, including the LGBTQIA+ History Month exhibition with partner Nucleus Arts at the Halpern Gallery on Chatham High Street between 19 and 25 February 2026, marking the 1957 to 2025 history of LGBTQIA+ equality law. The CIC is based at the MGSD Centre in Rochester High Street and runs counselling, peer support, sexual health and wellbeing services year-round across Medway and the surrounding area, alongside the festival itself.

The Rochester Castle festival is ticketed, with prices and tickets announced and publicised before they go on sale via the Medway Pride site. The parade through Rochester High Street is free. Check the Medway Pride website for the confirmed line-up, ticket details and accessibility info, plus the wider week of events leading up to the festival.
