More Information (Gaydio — The UK's LGBTQ+ Radio Station is not responsible for external websites)

Trans Pride Manchester takes place on Saturday 1 August 2026, the grassroots, trans-led march and community day for the trans, non-binary and gender non-conforming community across Greater Manchester. It is organised by Trans Pride Manchester, the volunteer team behind year-round advocacy, support and community-building for trans people in the region.

The march traditionally moves through Manchester's Gay Village around Canal Street and Sackville Gardens, with speeches, performances and stalls from trans-led groups, mutual aid networks and community charities. The day is centred on visibility, mutual support and political demand, with trans healthcare, gender recognition and the policy environment in the UK firmly in the frame. Sackville Gardens, the home of the Alan Turing memorial and the Beacon of Hope, is a site that carries weight for Manchester's wider LGBTQ+ history, and Trans Pride uses that ground deliberately.

Trans Pride Manchester is free to attend. The team operates on volunteer effort and donations, with money raised supporting the march, the year-round programme and partner trans organisations. Check the Trans Pride Manchester website for the confirmed 2026 route, gathering point, accessibility info and the safer-spaces approach for the day.
