Stuart Milk
Stuart Milk shares memories of his Uncle Harvey with Chris and Emma. Harvey Milk was one of the first openly gay people to be elected to public office in the USA. He campaigned for gay rights before he was killed in 1978. His story was turned into an Oscar winning film starring Sean Penn. Stuart is the co-founder and President of the Harvey Milk Foundation - an organisation set up in his Uncle's memory to continue his work. Stuart talks to Chris and Emma about the foundation's work, marriage equality and meeting President Obama. |
