Gaydio worked with a team of dedicated volunteers from the LGBT community in Sheffield.

Everyone was trained in basic media skills and the volunteers were then given free rein to create the following pages in support of their local event.

Thanks a million to all the volunteers who gave up their time to carry out interviews, write articles, take photos and edit work!

Welcome Audio Interviews Artists Q&A

Hello and welcome to Project Pride's page for Sheffield Pride 2013.

What do you want from Pride? Well, it can be whatever you want it to be but basically it's the opposite of shame.

So here's a place where we can celebrate exactly who we are safe from judgement, safe from prejudice and safe from shame!

Have a look around, you'll find all sorts of interviews, articles and links to help us come together and celebrate our wonderful selves!

Sheffield Pride 2013 is set to be the biggest and best yet, with a brand new city centre location and a line-up stretching all throughout the day and well into the night.

There's something for everyone to enjoy!

This year Sheffield Pride will be taking over the Steel City with events in Barker's Pool, Devonshire Green, O2 academy and a Parade, all on 6th July 2013.
