Station Assistant & Campaign Manager

Full Time, Manchester Based, Salary - Negotiable. Closing Date 18/05/14

Due to our recent growth we're looking for someone to join our team who will perform a range of tasks to help our day to day operation. The role will involve a range of functions across the station which will include

  • Campaign Management

                Scripting adverts on behalf of clients

                Arranging voice over's for the adverts

                Producing adverts using Adobe Audition

                Scheduling adverts for playout

                Producing artwork for our digital products and putting online

                Liaising with customers, updating them on the progress of their campaign

                Providing reports to the sales team

  • Marketing - Looking for innovative ways to market the station, increasing listeners to our service
  • Website & Social Media Management - looking after our website and social media outlets
  • Financial -  Entering invoices onto system, sending invoices to client and ensuring credit control is kept to - referring up when there are issues
  • Reporting to licensing agencies
  • Monitoring our service to ensure schedules are planned and hours are to specification
  • Performing a range of administrative tasks

Skills & Experience

  • Have a good attention to detail
  • Good English and numeracy skills
  • Is organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Be creative, bringing a fresh eye and new ideas to campaigns
  • Experience of writing radio scripts
  • Experience of Audio Editing packages
  • Strong experience of using graphics packages such as Photoshop
  • Strong experience of social media and website development
  • Some knowledge of finance systems is desirable
  • Is willing to undertake training and development as and when required
  • Has an understanding of the needs and lifestyle of LGB&T people
