Leicester Pride

Leicester Pride 2026 takes place on Sunday 30 August, with the parade stepping off from outside The Curve Theatre at midday and taking a longer-than-usual route through The Lanes, Jubilee Square and High Street before finishing at Abbey Park, the city's largest park. Abbey Park hosts the main festival site, with stages, community zones, family programming and food and drink across the afternoon and evening.

The city centre route gives Leicester Pride strong visibility through the heart of the city, taking in the cultural quarter and shopping streets before the parade reaches the festival ground at Abbey Park, which sits a short distance north of the city centre alongside the River Soar. The 2026 line-up has not yet been confirmed. Expect main stage live music, drag and cabaret, community stalls and family activity, plus venues across the city centre running their own Pride programming through the weekend.
