Swansea Pride

Swansea Pride 2026 takes place on Saturday 16 May at the Swansea Guildhall on St Helen's Road, running from 11am to 7pm. The parade gathers at Wind Street in the city centre at 11am before processing through Swansea and arriving at the Guildhall, where the main festival programme runs from midday to 7pm. The Guildhall's grand civic setting provides a striking backdrop for the day.

Swansea Pride is run by Swansea Pride Cymru, a volunteer-led charity that works year-round to promote the elimination of discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation, gender, race, religion or ability. The event began in 2008 when a small group of local LGBT people decided Swansea needed its own Pride. The 2026 line-up has not yet been fully announced. Wind Street, Swansea's main bar and nightlife strip, sees venues running their own Pride programming around the parade and festival.
