81% of millennials say they can't afford a mid-life crisis, but So You Think You’re Funny finalist, Mark Daniels, is asking... what if they’re just pretending they aren't having one? And what if they’re just not trying hard enough to have one on a budget?
He’s found brilliant ways of coping with a whole range of existential anxieties from environmental apocalypse to the replacement of humankind by AI, with simple things, like bottomless brunch and ridiculous jackets. And he doesn’t blame himself – why didn’t our school days prepare us for this sh*t instead of teaching us non-stop about Henry the f*cking Eighth?
Following his sell-out Brighton Fringe show Acute Britishness, this late-30-something queer comedian is back delivering his satirical, self-deprecating wit about all sorts of important topics from AI to Shakespeare to the Sugababes.
It’s a show for anyone who’s ever spent £12 on smashed avocado on toast and thought... wow... what in the God’s f*ck am I doing with my life?
6th May, 6.30pm and 13th May, 9pm at Presuming Ed's.
25th May, 4pm at Caravanserai.
