A seven-year-old girl and a 43-year-old woman have died in a crash in Hampshire.
Emergency services were called just after 10am on Thursday following a single-vehicle collision on the southbound carriageway of the A3, police said.
It was reported that a red Ford Fiesta had left the road.
The incident happened just after Hindhead Tunnel.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the two people in the car, a 43-year-old woman and a seven-year-old girl, who were both from Portsmouth, died at the scene.
The road was closed for several hours following the crash.

The force has appealed for witnesses and anyone with dashcam footage around the incident to come forward.
