![]() Sonia's singing career was launched in 1989 by the songwriting and music producing trio Stock Aitken Waterman. Her debut single, "You'll Never Stop Me Loving You", released in June 1989, quickly became a number 1 single in the UK Singles Chart - at 18-years-old, she became one of the youngest female British singers to achieve this feat. Sonia represented the United Kingdom in the 1993 Eurovision Song Contest with the song "Better The Devil You Know". She finished in 2nd place, behind Ireland's entry "In Your Eyes", with 164 points.
