There's lots of ways to get about London throughout the festive period, and in the run up to Christmas, Transport for London customers can benefit from reduced entry to some of the Capital's best attractions.

Christmas on the TFL Network

Merlin Entertainments is offering 30 per cent off for TfL customers who travel to five of its biggest attractions using the TfL network until 23 December 2022 - Shrek’s Adventure!, The London Eye, Madame Tussauds, London Dungeon and SEA LIFE London Aquarium. TfL customers can enjoy 30 per cent off entry for up to four people when they book in advance by visiting using the code ‘CityOffer’. Upon arrival, customers must simply prove they have travelled using TfL’s network using the TfL Oyster and contactless app.

TfL customers can also enjoy two-for-one entry on weekdays at three Historic Royal Palaces’ sites - the Tower of London, Hampton Court Palace and Kensington Palace - for up to three adults in one transaction until 23 December. Tickets must be claimed in person at the ticket office, with customers simply needing to show proof of travel via the TfL Oyster and contactless app.

This year TfL has wrapped five buses with a festive twist to help bring a smile to people during winter. Selected bus routes are covered with snowflakes, stars and TfL’s iconic station roundels - almost like gift wrap – with the names replaced with some of the fun activities people can see and do this festive season including ‘London lights’ and ‘last minute shopping’. Look out for them on your travels!

On the TfL blog online you can find the best bus routes to enjoy Christmas lights, and a Tube map of London’s best Christmas lights.
