The Exchange: Thursday

Mark Scott

Mark Scott has been a DJ since he was 10 after telling the teachers at school the DJ they had got in for a School Disco was rubbish and he could do better!

They started letting him throw impromptu School Discos at lunch time whenever it was too wet to play out - 'Wet Playtime' was never the same again!

Fast forward a few years and Mark, who had tried several jobs including Retail Management, could never silence the urge to DJ. He started 'spinning the decks' as a sideline for friends parties, before getting his first regular weekly gig in Wakefield. You can now find Mark at his residences at Queens Court in Leeds every Wednesday and Sunday (www.queenscourtleeds.com), VIA Manchester every Friday (www.viamanchester.co.ukand The Bridge Inn also in Leeds hosting Karaoke on Saturday Afternoons (www.facebook.com/TheBridgeLGBTBarLeeds

Mark joined Gaydio in 2012 and presents The Exchange on Thursdays.

Paul Burgess

Paul Burgess has been in the entertainment industry since he enrolled in the famous Oldham Theatre Workshop as a child. Paul and Jason spend all of their time running the Cycle Club Oldham and the Performace Plaza (www.plaza.org.uk) - both not-for-profit organisations they founded in 2005. Paul was also part of the team that created the Pink Triangle Theatre Company (www.pinktriangletheatre.co.uk), which aims to tackle homophobia in schools and colleges, workplaces and prisons.

Paul joined the team at Gaydio in 2010.

Saira O'Grady

The most important thing you should know about Saira O'Grady is that she likes cats. Loves cats. Cats, cats, cats!

Aside from that, she is a Scouser who has been living in Manchester for 3 years, and who has developed a passion for radio growing up following inspirations such as Fearn Cotton.

When Saira isn't in radio mode she is shaking cocktails and bar-tending in Manchester. If she's not doing that then she's probably drinking tea and watching a David Attenborough documentary.

Saira is an alcohol enthusiast, she is often out developing some crazy story that you're sure to hear about. If she could sing she would probably be the whole package!
