Saturday 23 August will see laughter rippling through Prescot Town centre for the Serious Nonsense Festival. Shakespeare North Playhouse plays its part in this fab festival by hosting a range of events including family theatre, stand-up comedy and free drop in sessions.
11am - 12pm & 1pm - 2pm - Fancy Pants Creative Drop in Sessions for families - FREE.
11am & 12pm - Story Play with Lucy - Get ready for a storytelling adventure where you help create the story! Join Lucy for a fast, funny, and totally unpredictable show full of games, laughter, and surprises. Tickets from £5.
1pm & 3:30pm - Up and Away by Tmesis Theatre. An interactive family friendly show using words, puppetry, and physical theatre, in a celebration of hope and dreaming the impossible! - Tickets from £5.
6:30pm-7:45pm - Dan Nightingale, supported by Kay Nicholson - Stand Up Comedy - Known for his electrifying live shows and as co-host of the smash-hit Have A Word podcast, Dan brings his trademark mix of sharp material, whip-smart improvisation, and big personality to our stage (Suitable for 16+) Tickets £18.
