Sunderland Pride is Saturday 27 June 2026, the city's annual LGBTQ+ celebration with parade and festival.

Sunderland Pride takes place on Saturday 27 June 2026, the Wearside city's annual LGBTQ+ celebration. The parade traditionally moves through Sunderland city centre to the main festival site, with stages, community stalls, family activity and food and drink across the day. Sunderland Pride sits within the wider North East Pride calendar alongside Northern Pride in Newcastle and Middlesbrough Pride, and brings together the local LGBTQ+ community and allies from across the region.
The 2026 line-up has not yet been confirmed by the organisers. Sunderland's bars and venues run their own Pride programming alongside the official festival, with the city's queer community taking the day as its own. The event is community-led and supported by Sunderland City Council and local partners.
Sunderland Pride is free entry. Donations and sponsorship help keep the event accessible. Check the Sunderland Pride Facebook page and channels for the confirmed parade route, full line-up and accessibility info.
