How can I join the Sky News Beta app on iOS?

To join the Sky News Beta Programme on your iPhone or iPad:

1. Click here, you'll be instructed to download the TestFlight app. This will enable you to get the beta version of Sky News.
2. Then, follow the instructions to install the beta version of the Sky News app.
3. Use the app as you normally would.
4. If you experience any issues or have feedback, tap Send Beta Feedback in the TestFlight app to let our team know.

How can I join the Sky News Beta app on Android?

To join the Sky News Beta Programme on your Android device:

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Search Sky News, and scroll to the Join the beta section on the Sky News app listing.
3. Tap Join and wait a few minutes for beta access to be enabled.
4. Update the Sky News app to the beta version.
5. Use the app as you normally would and let us know if you encounter any issues or have feedback.

How do I leave the beta programme?

If you'd like to leave the beta programme at any time:

On iPhone or iPad:

1. Open TestFlight.
2. Select the Sky News app.
3. Tap Stop Testing.

To reinstall the public version:

1. Open the App Store.
2. Search for Sky News.
3. Download or reinstall the latest public version of the app.

On Android

1. Open the Google Play store.
2. Search for the Sky News app.
3. Scroll to the You're a beta tester section.
4. Tap Leave.

You can then update or reinstall the public version of the Sky News app once your beta access has been removed.
