The Pink Picnic returns to Peel Park on Saturday 13 June 2026, marking the 15th anniversary of Salford's annual LGBTQ+ celebration and now Greater Manchester's largest voluntary-led grassroots Pride. The 2025 event drew over 6,500 community members, with 2026 projected at 8,000-plus. The day combines the parade, multiple stages of live music, performances, expo stalls from local LGBTQ+ groups and charities, market vendors, food and drink, and the family-friendly picnic format that gives the event its name.
Cher Lloyd is the announced headliner for 2026, with the rest of the line-up still to follow. Peel Park, alongside the University of Salford and the Crescent, is wheelchair and mobility-scooter friendly with a dedicated accessibility area, including accessible toilets, seating and a great main stage view. The event is single-use-packaging-free, with reusable food containers required and free water refill points across the site, and adults aged 18+ may bring up to four cans of alcohol on first entry (no re-entry with alcohol).
Tickets start at £5 plus booking fee via Skiddle and the official Pink Picnic site, with under 16s free (registered ticket required). PinkPLUS upgrades include early entry from 12:30, a private bar, two free drinks and the chance to meet headline performers. PinkPASS adds dedicated entry queues and posh loos. Salford Pride is a registered charity, all ticket revenue funds the event. Check the Pink Picnic website for the full line-up and accessibility details.
