More Information (Gaydio — The UK's LGBTQ+ Radio Station is not responsible for external websites)
Trans Pride Cardiff takes place on Sunday 23 August 2026, Wales's grassroots, trans-led march and community day. The event has grown over recent years from a small community gathering into one of the most visible trans-specific Pride events in Wales, run by volunteers and centred on visibility, solidarity and the lived realities of trans, non-binary and intersex people across the country.
The march traditionally gathers in central Cardiff and moves through the city centre, with speeches, performance and community stalls from Welsh trans-led groups, mutual aid networks, healthcare advocacy organisations and partner LGBTQ+ charities. Cardiff's queer scene around Charles Street, Churchill Way and the city centre comes out in force, with bars and partner venues running their own events around the day. Trans healthcare access in Wales, gender recognition reform and the wider UK policy environment are typically central to the day's framing.
Trans Pride Cardiff is free to attend. The event runs on volunteer effort and donations. Check the Trans Pride Cardiff social channels for the confirmed 2026 route, gathering point, accessibility info and the safer-spaces approach.
