Competition Terms and Conditions

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS

These terms apply to all competitions, prize draws, or similar operating across all Gaydio brands and companies.

Unless stated, the promoter is Gaydio CIC, Suite 1A Manchester One, M1 3LF.

1) Competitions are open to residents of the United Kingdom (including Isle of Man and Channel Islands) only. Employees or volunteers of Gaydio CIC, Gaydio Brighton, Gaydio Digital, their partners, contributors, recent guests or their immediate families, agencies, or anyone else directly connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.

2) By entering any competition all participants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by the rules. All entry instructions form part of the rules.

3) All prizes are subject to availability. There will be no cash alternative.

4) Source material utilised by our question compilers will be taken as correct. The decision of the Gaydio judges is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5) Callers are not necessarily entitled to participate in the on-air competition and will not necessarily appear on-air in the order in which they are called. Gaydio is not obliged to reimburse callers for telephone charges when either on hold or on air.

6) Entry into the competition is deemed as agreement to take part in publicity accompanying or resulting from the competition.

7) Responsibility cannot be accepted for entries lost, damaged or delayed in transit to the competition address. Proof of posting will not be accepted as proof of receipt.

8) In the case of a prize draw, the first correct entry drawn will be the winner.

9) Entries will become the property of Gaydio and will not be returned.

10) Entry into the competition is free and Lottery and Gaming regulations do not apply.

11) No liability will be accepted on the part of Gaydio, its co-promoters or agents for any loss, illness or injury resulting directly or otherwise from participation in any competition or promotion.

12) No liability on the part of Gaydio, its co-promoters or agents will be accepted for any action, civil or otherwise, taken against individual participants in the promotion.

13) Entrants into the promotion have no claim whatsoever to any intellectual or other property connected to any promotion, which remains in the sole ownership of Gaydio.

14) No promotional activity with any 3rd party, can be undertaken by any participant, before or after the promotion, without the express written consent of Gaydio.

15) Collusion with other participants is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate disqualification.

16) Entrants may be required to take part in future promotional activity exclusively for Gaydio before/during and/or after the promotion in connection with the promotion.

17) Gaydio reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions without notification. Acceptance of these Terms and Conditions also apply to any subsequent revision, whether notified or not.

18) Unless stated, Standard network charges apply to text entries.

20) Competition Prizes are subject to partner conditions as applicable.

21) Gaydio or co-partner cannot be held responsible for delayed or undelivered items that are posted, including but not limited to tickets, wristbands or other entry mechanisms

22) Gaydio or co-partner Is not liable for any expenses incurred by competition entrants and winners related to the provision of this prize.

23) Competitions may be shared across the Gaydio Network. This includes Gaydio in any of the cities we currently broadcast in, under the Gaydio brand on FM or DAB irrespective of the operating company. This also may include, but not limited to, online (including app, website and third party outlets) and via our website and social media.

24) If Gaydio or co-partner is unable to gain contact to the winner and/or the prize is not accepted within 7 days, the prize will be forfeited.

25) Where a prize is for an event, winners may be sent tickets via post or email supplied on the entrant form. Prizes may also be via a guest list or need to be collected in person. Where collection is in person, this will be listed in the additional T&C's below.

26) Prize providers will have their own Terms & Conditions which will always be available up on request. These are the same terms & conditions as a customer who may buy the product being given away. By accepting any prize, you also agree to these

27) Where Gaydio is not the promoter and/or prizes are provided by a third party, Gaydio accept no responsibility if the prize is not delivered. Gaydio will make all reasonable efforts to help resolve non-delivery or delays or other prize related issues, but in entering the competition you acknowledge and accept that Gaydio ultimately is not at fault should such a situation arise.

28) Competitions, prize draws or similar may take place in a single geographic location or across the Gaydio network of stations (which may also include third party radio stations or platforms). This may affect the overall number of entries received and should be taken into account by participants when entering draws.

29) Additional terms and conditions may apply, as below, for specific competitions. Where there is a conflict between the general terms and conditions and specific terms relating to competitions, Gaydio will be solely responsible for deciding which terms take priority.

Wilde 'Ultimate Manchester Pride' - 29th April - Sunday 5th May 2024

1. The promoter of the competition is Staycity Ltd (‘Promoter’) whose registered offices are at Mission Hall, 11 Mill Street, Dublin 8, DO8 E30R, Ireland.
2. The Promoter will provide the Prize.
3. The full prize details (the ‘Prize’) are as follows:
(i) There will be one (1 )winner (the ‘Winner’)
(ii) The Winner shall be entitled to three nights’ complimentary accommodation for four people at Wilde Aparthotels, Manchester, St. Peter’s Square over the Pride Weekend from 23rd till 26th August 2024, in a one bedroom apartment with breakfast, welcome drink on arrival, meal at local restaurant, late check out on Monday 26th August and four tickets to the Pride Festival.
(iii) Cancellation – if the Winner cancels the trip after booking, the Winner is not entitled to a refund from the Promoter
4. Accommodation
(i) The accommodation is for Manchester Pride Weekend from 23rd till 26th August 2024. The winner is required to provide the lead name for the booking including contact details within the 2 weeks from the winner’s prize confirmation. The maximum capacity of apartment is 4 guests.
(ii) The winner can customise their stay by choosing one of the provided bed type: 1 double bed and 1 twin sofa bed or 2 single beds and 1 twin sofa bed. The winner is required to confirm their preferred bed type up to 1 week prior to arrival, otherwise standard set up in one bedroom apartment will remain ( 1 double bed and 1 twin sofa bed ).
(iii) Check out time is 11am. The winner’s check out time is extended on Monday 26th August until 1pm. Additional late check out is subject to availability and an additional fee will apply at £12.50 per hour.
(iv) The prize is not valid for a stay in our Staycity Aparthotels
(iv). The accommodation is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. Prizes can only be claimed by the Winner as notified by the Promoter.
5. Additional Prize Details
(i) Meal for 4 guests up to the value of £250 per group, at the Grand Pacific, 50 Spring Gardens, Manchester, M2 1EN
(ii). The winner will notify promoter with selected date and time for their reservation at the Grand Pacific at least 4 weeks in advance. While every effort will be made to facilitate the winners with their requests for specific date/time, the restaurant reserve the right to confirm the booking.
(iii). The prize included 4 x Phase 2 weekend GVP tickets for the Manchester Pride Festival
6. The total Prize is non-transferable and is not redeemable for cash. Prizes can only be claimed by the Winner as notified by the Promoter.
7. Only the chosen winner of the competition can use the prize and it can't be gifted forward
8. These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with these terms and conditions will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Ireland.

Entry Routes and Costs
- Entries are restricted to one entry per person, multiple entries will not be accepted.
- Entry is free of charge
- The competition is promoted on Gaydio across the UK and in our broadcast locations: London, Manchester, Brighton, Birmingham, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Cardiff, Bristol, Sheffield, Leeds, Newcastle, Gateshead and Portsmouth
Competition Mechanic
- To enter the competition, a listener must complete teh form on the landing page, answering all questions correctly.
- Within 28 days of competition closure, a winner will be selected at random from all eligible and correct entries.
Entry Period
- Entries must be submitted during the follow entry period: From [11:30 Saturday 27th April 2024] (the "start time") to [23:59 Friday 10th May 2024] ("the end time").
- Entries submitted before the start oafter the end time will be invalid.
Entry restrictions and eligibility
- The entrant must ensure all contact details are correct on the entry form.
- If the winning entrant does not respond to a phone call or email from Gaydio within 7 days of contact, the winner will forfeit the prize and another winner will be selected.
- Entrants must be 18 or over.
The Prize
- 7 night stay at The Saint Hotel, St. Pete Beach for two people.
- Return flights from the UK to Florida for two people.
Prize terms
- All spending money, transfers and other expenses, unless otherwise stated, are not included.
- Meals and refreshments are not included in the prize.
- Travel insurance is not provided as part of the prize.
- It is the responsibility of the prize winner and companion to ensure they have the correct documentation to travel, and they adhere to any government guidelines in place.
- Flights are economy class, must depart from the United Kingdom and are not changeable after booking.
- No cash will be awarded in lieu of the prize or part of the prize.
- The dates of the holiday are subject to availability and the winner must travel between 1 October 2024 – 30 September 2025. Reasonable notice (at least 8 weeks) must be given before the intended stay.
- Entrants must live in the UK, be aged 18 or over.
- Employees of GAYDIO, BA Holidays, Visit St. Pete/Clearwater or any promoter, their immediate families, and anyone else connected with the creation and administration of the promotion are not eligible to enter.
