Glasgow's Pride returns on Saturday 18 July 2026 as Scotland's biggest Pride event. The march traditionally gathers in the city centre and moves through Buchanan Street and around Merchant City before culminating at George Square or Glasgow Green, with the route and timings for 2026 still to be confirmed by the organisers. Glasgow's Pride is delivered by a volunteer team and centres the city's vibrant Merchant City and Virginia Street LGBTQ+ scene, where venues run their own programming across the weekend.
Glasgow's Pride combines a strong protest tradition with a Glaswegian sense of warmth and humour, drawing tens of thousands of marchers, community groups, trade unions, students and allies. Past festival activity has included main-stage performances, drag, DJs, food and craft markets, with Pride at The Green and city-centre stages anchoring the day. Many of Glasgow's gay bars and clubs cluster around Virginia Street and run special Pride parties, with The Waterloo Bar (Scotland's oldest gay bar), Speakeasy, The Riding Room and Katie's Bar among the long-standing favourites.
The march itself is free. Festival and afterparty details, including any ticketed elements, are still to be announced for 2026. Glasgow's Pride is a registered charity that relies heavily on volunteer effort and donations. Check the Glasgow's Pride website nearer the date for the confirmed march route, the festival programme, line-up and accessibility info.
