A teenager has appeared in court over the death of a young man who died after an alleged assault in Glasgow city centre.
Daniel Colrain, 21, was seriously injured in Royal Exchange Square during the early hours of Sunday.
He was taken to hospital, where he died on Monday.
Luis Cameron, 19, was arrested and charged in connection with Mr Colrain's death.
He appeared before Glasgow Sheriff Court on Thursday, where he made no plea to the charges of culpable homicide and attempting to pervert the course of justice.
Cameron, of Paisley in Renfrewshire, was released on bail ahead of his next court appearance, which is yet to be confirmed.
Mr Colrain worked at The Old Smiddy bar in Glasgow, where staff have set up a fundraiser in his memory which has raised more than £27,000.
In a message on the JustGiving page, Mr Colrain's colleagues said they were "completely heartbroken" by his loss and had set up the fundraiser to support his family and assist with his funeral and memorial arrangements.
They said: "To know Daniel was to experience his warmth and kindness first-hand.
"Over the past three years at The Smiddy, he built wonderful friendships with every member of our staff and became a cherished part of our close-knit group.
"He knew all of our regulars by name, chatted with them for hours, and was a beloved presence in the community where he grew up.
"He brought so much light to our team and will be dearly, dearly missed."
