Gaydio statement on the LGBT+ Music Festival, Porto
In early 2022 we were approached by a brand new festival planned for Summer 2022 in Porto. As such, Gaydio agreed to enter into a non-financial agreement to provide promotion and support to help launch it.
Gaydio or any of our team had no part in any of the festival set up, including booking artists or organising ticket sales. Nor would Gaydio or any of our team benefited financially if the festival had gone ahead.
On 19th May we were informed by email that the festival was no longer going ahead and we immediately removed advertising on air and requested our logo was removed from the website.
Its regretful when, what appeared to be a well intentioned and credible festival does not go ahead.
We have no reason to believe that anyone who has booked tickets will not be refunded in full. Our advice is to contact the festival directly with any queries or the ticket provider Eventgenius who should be able to help resolve any issues you have.
