Portsmouth Pride 2026 returns to Southsea Common on Saturday 6 June, with the south coast city's Pride event keeping its long-standing free and unfenced format, a deliberate choice by the organisers to keep the day accessible to everyone. Southsea Common's open green space along the seafront gives the festival room for the parade, multiple stages, community stalls and family activity, with the sea and the Solent as the backdrop.
The parade typically moves through the city centre and along the seafront before arriving on Southsea Common for the main festival activity. The 2026 line-up has not yet been confirmed by the organisers. Expect main stage live music, drag and cabaret, the family area, community group stalls and food traders, plus venues across Portsmouth and Southsea running their own Pride programming through the weekend.
Portsmouth Pride is free entry. The unfenced format means anyone can wander into the festival site, which the organisers see as central to keeping Pride open and welcoming. Donations and supporter contributions are welcome on the day. Check the Portsmouth Pride website for the confirmed 2026 line-up and parade route.
