Belfast Pride Festival celebrates its 35th anniversary across 10 days, Friday 17 to Sunday 26 July 2026, with over 150 events making it the biggest LGBTQIA+ festival on the island of Ireland. The centrepiece Pride Parade takes place on Saturday 25 July, with build-up from 11.30am and the parade leaving at 1pm sharp, following the same route as 2025. The parade is the biggest cross-community parade in Belfast and a major moment in the city's LGBTQIA+ calendar, with 85,000 in attendance in 2025.

The parade typically begins at Custom House Square, travelling down High Street and through the city centre, with Custom House Square hosting the main party afterwards, six hours of live music, drag, DJs and family entertainment. The Big Pride Picnic and Family Fun Day takes over the grounds of Belfast City Hall from noon, with activities and live entertainment across the weekend. Across the 10 days, expect 150 events spanning talks, exhibitions, club nights, sport, theatre and community gatherings, with the Cathedral Quarter at the heart of the city's LGBTQIA+ scene.

The parade and most outdoor events are free. Some club nights at venues like Kremlin and Boombox, and selected concerts, require tickets. The Pride Village applications are open for community groups and small businesses, with reduced fees for sole traders. Belfast Pride is delivered by a major volunteer effort and a small contractor team. The 2026 theme will be announced soon. Check the Belfast Pride website for the full festival programme.
