Madonna confirms WorldPride Amsterdam performance after Dutch teaser sends fans wild

We speculated on the rumours and she's only gone and confirmed it — Madonna will headline Amsterdam WorldPride on 1 August, bringing her Club Confessions party to the Canal Parade.

Madonna will perform at Amsterdam WorldPride on 1 August alongside Stuart Price, Honey Dijon and special guests, bringing her Club Confessions party to one of the world's biggest Pride celebrations.

The Queen of Pop confirmed the show in an Instagram Story after teasing fans with a cryptic Dutch message on 28 July. "IK HEB IETS WAAR IK OVER WIL PRATEN," she wrote — translating as "I've got something I wanna talk about" — a lyric from her single with Sabrina Carpenter, 'Bring Your Love'.

Club Confessions: Amsterdam lands on the same night as the Canal Parade, which is expected to draw between 500,000 and 750,000 spectators. This will be the first Club Confessions staged as part of WorldPride and Madonna's first WorldPride appearance since New York in 2019.

The performance follows the release of Madonna's 15th studio album, Confessions II, which dropped on 3 July 2026. The album has debuted at No.1 on both the Billboard 200 and the Official UK Albums Chart.

Madonna has taken her Club Confessions album launch party across the globe in recent months. She last staged a surprise Pride pop-up concert in Times Square, New York City, on 4 June, and also performed at the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final half-time show.

WorldPride's famous Canal Parade sails through Amsterdam on Saturday 1 August, featuring a unique WorldPride Stadium on the Prinsengracht with around 10,000 seats through which the boat parade sails. WorldPride continues across the week with major events including the Unity Concert and the Closing Concert on 8 August.

The Unity Concert on 4 August features performances by Beth Ditto of The Gossip, Billy Porter and Gustaph. The Closing Concert will feature Olly Alexander, Lion Babe and The Blessed Madonna.

WorldPride runs in Amsterdam from 25 July to 8 August 2026 under the theme "Unity", celebrating diversity, freedom and love across the city.
