Bolton Pride takes place on Saturday 13 July 2026, the festival and parade considered Greater Manchester's second biggest Pride after Manchester Village Pride. The 2025 edition marked Bolton Pride's 10th anniversary, with the celebration centred on a vibrant weekend of love, equality and community across the town. The parade traditionally departs from the University of Bolton at 10am with a rolling road closure through the town, ending at the Town Hall steps where the main stage hosts grassroots, local and diverse entertainment.

Alongside the main stage at the Town Hall steps, the festival site brings an exciting expo of charities, community groups, local businesses and information stalls, all dedicated to bringing everyone together, LGBTQI+ people and allies alike, in a safe, inclusive and joyful space. Victoria Square at the heart of Bolton becomes the focal point for the day, with the wider town centre's bars and venues running their own Pride programming around the official festival.

Bolton Pride is free entry. The event is delivered by Bolton Pride and a team of volunteers, supported by sponsorship and community donations. The 2026 line-up has not yet been confirmed, with announcements expected closer to the date. Check the Bolton Pride channels for the confirmed parade route, full line-up, and accessibility info. Note: please verify the 13 July date with the organisers, as Bolton Pride traditionally falls on the Whitsun bank holiday weekend in late May.
