Gaydio worked with a team of dedicated volunteers from the Trans community in Manchester.

We held a meeting at the LGBT Youth North West Headquarters in June where everyone was trained in basic media skills. The volunteers were then given free rein to create the following pages to support Sparkle.

Thanks a million to all the volunteers who gave up their time to carry out interviews, write articles, take photos and edit work!

It will soon be Super Sparkle-time and this community page aims to be your ‘one-stop vox pop-in shop’ for Sparkle 2013 11th to 14th July.

Sparkle is the largest European transgender festival, and its now in it’s 9thSuper Sparkling Year. For FOUR whole days, you can be sparkling, dancing, eating and making new friends. You will find "Sparkle in the Park” in Sackville Gardens, the "Sparkle Talks and Workshops” at The LGF on Richmond St.

The bars, restaurants in The Village are full of welcome and fun-time events. Feed the soul and dance till dawn!

The volunteers on this page will be working hard to give you all the up and coming stories on what’s going on. Just follow the links to hear interviews, vox pops, read articles and … so much more!
