Call Me Mother
Produced by Novel for Gaydio and made possible by the Audio Content Fund, Call Me Mother is a series of interviews by author and journalist Shon Faye who talks with LGBTQ trailblazers and queer elders who have something important to say about what it means to be queer in the world today.
The series will also give you the language you need to grapple with new experiences by showing that you belong to a much broader history. You can hear a new episode every Sunday morning on Gaydio throughout March and you can catch up with any stories you've missed below.
This series features remarkable stories told by remarkable people, some of the events they discuss and some of the words they use to describe their experiences can be colourful. These programmes contain explicit language and descriptions of an adult nature.
