Transgender Day of Visibility on Gaydio

Happy Transgender Day of Visibility!
The 31st of March marks International Transgender Day of Visibility - a global moment to celebrate transgender, non-binary and gender non-conforming people. It highlights the joy, resilience and achievements of trans communities, while also shining a light on the discrimination many continue to face.
The day was founded in 2009 by Michigan-based activist Rachel Crandall-Crocker, with the aim of creating space to celebrate trans lives while increasing visibility and understanding around the world.
At Gaydio, we believe now more than ever it’s important than ever to uplift and celebrate trans voices, stories, and achievements. Throughout the day, we’ll be sharing powerful contributions from trans individuals and allies across the station, reflecting on what Trans Day of Visibility means to them and why visibility still matters.
