Trans woman jailed for seven years for false rape claims against multiple men

A trans woman has been jailed after lying about being raped by multiple men.

Khloe Simmonds, 26, wasted hundreds of hours of police time on false allegations and several men were detained before later being released.

At one point, Simmonds was responsible for 2.5% of all rape and serious sexual assault allegations in Harrow, northwest London.

She was sentenced on Monday to seven-and-a-half years in prison for eight counts of perverting the course of justice.

The judge at Harrow Crown Court said it wasn't a one-off but a "sustained pattern of conduct" between July 2018 and January 2026.

He said the lies had diverted police from investigating "genuine victims of serious crime".

Simmonds - a pre-operative trans woman - claimed in one case she had been orally raped at knifepoint by an Afghan man.

He was arrested and spent 88 days under investigation, Harrow Crown Court heard. But the man said it was Simmonds who had made advances - and he rejected them.

A chef was another victim. He was invited back to her flat after meeting on Grindr but left after feeling uncomfortable.

Simmonds called 999 and claimed he raped her after putting something was put in her drink. The man was arrested at home and spent 20 hours at the police station.

On another occasion, Simmonds caught a taxi home after a date and called 999 to accuse the driver of rape.

However, GPS data showed the car never stopped and hadn't gone under 25mph.

The defendant was arrested after the incident on suspicion of perverting the course of public justice and later admitted the allegations were false.

Defence solicitor Dominic Benthall said Simmonds had autism, ADHD, and alcohol dependency issues.

"There is plainly, or was plainly, at the time an underlying mental health difficulty," he said.

Simmonds admitted eight counts of perverting the course of public justice.

She watched the start of sentencing by video from Wormwood Scrubs men's prison in London but then returned to a cell and refused to attend.
