Kelham Pride returns on Saturday 20 June 2026 for its third year as Sheffield's biggest LGBTQ+ event. The parade starts at Kelham Island Museum and crosses Ball Street Bridge before arriving at the main stage on Burton Road, the home of Peddler Market. Kelham Pride is a free street party centred across nine partner venues in the Kelham Island and Neepsend areas, including Yellow Arch Studios, Factory Floor, Alder, Riverside and the Kelham Island Tavern. The 2025 event drew 11,500 people across the day with 1,800 in the parade and brought an estimated £500,000 boost to Sheffield's economy.
Kelham Pride is run by Kelham Island and Neepsend Community Alliance (KINCA) in collaboration with Love Kelham CIC, an entirely volunteer-led not-for-profit. Expect live musicians, DJs, drag queens, comedians, guest speakers, family-friendly activities and fringe events through the day, with afterparties beginning in partner venues from 9pm where the programming gets slightly bawdier. Local brewers are once again creating an official Pride beer that attendees vote to name. The event has clear values, including a zero tolerance policy for prejudice or harassment.
Kelham Pride is free for attendees. Parade participation is also free, but a voluntary donation is encouraged when registering, and depends on the size and nature of the group. The event is largely funded through sponsorship and donations, with backers including Sheffield Hallam University, the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority and Meadowhall. Check the Kelham Pride website for the confirmed parade route, line-up and accessibility info.
