Speculation is rife that the Queen of Pop will perform at WorldPride in Amsterdam after she cryptically posted Dutch lyrics, though organisers won't officially confirm her appearance.

Speculation is mounting that Madonna could be about to surprise Amsterdam WorldPride after the Queen of Pop posted a cryptic Dutch message on social media. The 67-year-old shared "IK HEB IETS WAAR IK OVER WIL PRATEN" via her Instagram Story on 28 July, translating to "I've got something I wanna talk about" from her recent collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter. A WorldPride spokesperson told local outlet AT5 they would neither confirm nor deny her appearance.

Some outlets reported that WorldPride responded to Madonna's tease with their own Instagram Story message, though this has not been officially confirmed by organisers. The timing has sent fans into overdrive, with Madonna's Dutch-language post arriving during the second week of WorldPride celebrations in Amsterdam.

Madonna also shared a clip from her 'Bring Your Love' video, which uses the same lyric. The cryptic social media activity has sparked widespread speculation that she could appear at one of the festival's major events, though no performance date or venue has been announced.

WorldPride 2026 takes place from 25 July to 8 August, with hundreds of thousands of visitors from across the globe expected to celebrate diversity, freedom and love. The event marks 25 years since the Netherlands became the first country to legalise same-sex marriage in 2001.

The Unity Concert features Beth Ditto of The Gossip, Billy Porter and Gustaph, while the Wedding Party XXL on 6 August will see Museumplein transform into one giant dancefloor with KI/KI, Bimini, Billy Porter and the Vengaboys. The Closing Concert line-up includes Olly Alexander and The Blessed Madonna, alongside Lion Babe. The famous Canal Parade sails through Amsterdam's canals on 1 August.

Madonna's possible appearance would follow recent high-profile performances including a surprise Pride pop-up in Times Square, New York City, on 4 June and the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final halftime show. The icon has said she "wouldn't have a career if it weren't for the gay community".
