A 31-year-old British woman has died after being stabbed at a train station in Germany, police say.
Officers were called to the scene early on Sunday following a report a woman had been attacked with a knife at Rosenheim railway station and was seriously injured.
She was taken to hospital where she later died.
A 27-year-old German man was arrested at the scene in the Bavarian city on suspicion of carrying out the attack.
It is not yet clear whether the man and the woman were known to each other.
Police are investigating the motive and background of the attack, and have appealed to the public for more information.
They have asked anyone who witnessed "an argument" or a "physical altercation" at the station in the early hours of the morning to come forward.
